Marga offers small-group departures and private customised journeys in India. Current journeys focus on Ladakh, with Kashmir and Uttarakhand collections in development. Women-friendly, senior-friendly and pet-friendly travel are part of Marga’s wider direction, with availability depending on the destination and departure.
Can solo travellers join a Marga group trip?
Yes. Solo travellers can join suitable small-group departures, including Marga’s women-only journeys. Each journey page explains the intended group, room-sharing arrangement and maximum group size.
Can Marga create a private or customised itinerary?
Yes. Private journeys can be shaped around your dates, group size, interests, preferred pace and accommodation style. Routes remain subject to practical considerations such as weather, permits, road conditions and high-altitude safety.
How large are Marga’s travel groups?
Marga intentionally keeps groups small. The exact size varies by journey and is stated on the relevant journey page; the current women’s Ladakh departure is limited to 5–6 women.
What is usually included in a Marga journey?
