Marga™ (“Marga”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a travel curation business based in India. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through findyourmarga.com and direct journey enquiries.
1. Information we collect
When you submit an enquiry, we may collect your name, email address, optional phone or WhatsApp number, preferred destination, selected journey and the information you include in your message, such as dates, group size and travel interests.
Our hosting and security providers may also process limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, access time and security logs when you visit the website.
2. Why we use it
We use this information to respond to your request, shape or recommend a journey, provide relevant availability and pricing, maintain an enquiry history, protect the form from misuse and meet legal or operational obligations.
Information submitted for an enquiry is not automatically added to a marketing list. If we introduce a newsletter, subscription will require a separate, optional choice and every message will include an unsubscribe method.
3. Consent and your choices
By submitting the enquiry form, you ask Marga to use the details provided to respond to that enquiry. You may withdraw your consent or ask us to stop using information that is no longer required by emailing journeysmarga@gmail.com.
4. Storage, sharing and international processing
Website enquiries are stored in protected website infrastructure and are accessible only to authorised people working with Marga. We may use carefully selected providers for website hosting, database storage, email, security and communications. They receive only the information needed to provide those services.
Some providers may process information outside India. Where that occurs, we use established service providers and appropriate safeguards. We do not sell or rent personal information.
5. How long we keep information
Enquiries that do not become bookings are normally deleted or anonymised within 24 months of the last meaningful conversation. If you book a journey, relevant booking, payment and transaction records may be retained longer where required for legal, tax, accounting, safety or dispute-resolution purposes.
6. Cookies and analytics
At launch, Marga does not use advertising cookies or behavioural-tracking tools. Essential hosting, security or load-balancing technologies may operate to deliver and protect the website. If we later add non-essential analytics or marketing tools, we will update this policy and introduce an appropriate consent choice before they are used.
7. WhatsApp, Instagram and other external services
Links to WhatsApp, Instagram, email or another external service take you outside our website. Information you provide there is also governed by that provider’s privacy practices.
8. Children’s information
Our website is intended for adults planning travel. Enquiries involving travellers under 18 should be submitted by a parent, guardian or responsible adult. Please do not send a child’s sensitive personal or medical information through the general enquiry form.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask for a summary of the personal information we hold about you, request correction or deletion, withdraw consent, or raise a concern about how your information has been handled. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
10. Security
We use reasonable organisational and technical safeguards, including restricted access and secure transmission, to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we will respond promptly to any issue that materially affects your information.
11. Updates and contact
We may update this policy when our services, technology or legal obligations change. The effective date above will show when the latest version began to apply.
