Dal Lake to Pangong—the whole journey, driven through
Most people fly into Leh and wonder what they missed on the way. This is that journey: two days in Kashmir, then the great mountain highway across Zoji La, through Drass and past Moonland, before the Ladakh circuit opens into Nubra, Turtuk and Pangong.
Where you will stay
Dal Lake houseboat · Sonamarg mountain resort · Kargil hotel · Leh guesthouse · Nubra camp · Pangong lakeside camp
Good to know: A 10-day version is possible by combining Srinagar and Sonamarg and omitting the dedicated Turtuk day.
